Inexpensive Treatments for Acne Scars

Ever notice how rich people or celebrities rarely have to deal with mortal problems such as acne scarring?

Yeah, if we all had millions of dollars to allocate towards our looks, then finding ways to get rid of things like acne scars certainly wouldn't be as mystifying as it is. Fact is, scar treatment is a huge business, and most professionals (the types who do fancy laser surgery and such) are so well paid that they won't bother helping you unless you can afford to pay them hand over fist. It's just not worth their time.

But is there light at the end of the rainbow? Are there effective remedies for acne scarring that are also cheap in price?

Well, that depends exactly how low you want to go. I don't like the really cheap stuff -- the sort of "magic" remedies you find in Walgreens that end up being a total waste of money at best, and making your skin look worse at worst.

If you've ever tried any of those cheap drug store products that work for you, please let me know.

In the mean time, if you're really on a budget, I would rather have you focus on home remedies. The great thing about some health products or household items is that they are not specifically marketed towards something as profitable as acne, so they are not so overpriced.

I'm talking about stuff like Vitamin E Oil. Pretty inexpensive considering the immense health benefits, and probably available at your local health section in your grocery store. You can sometimes get better deals on sites that are known to sell quality goods at low prices online such as Amazon.com.

If you give Vitamin E Oil a try as your inexpensive acne scar treatment, here are a few tips for you:

  • Don't use it before night. It's oil. It can clog your pores if you let it. Instead, use it after you use some sort of mousturizer. Wash your face, mouisturize your face, and then apply the vitamin E Oil. You always want a "barrier" between your skin and the oil to prevent future break outs.
  • While Vitamin E Oil is a popular method for healing acne scars, its by no means a magic potion. Don't expect instant results. This is something that lightens your scars over time. Sometimes you won't even be able to tell if it's working (and it doesn't work for everyone!)

Feel Like You Need Something Stronger?

While it is certainly an inexpensive remedy, let's face the facts. Vitamin E oil is not going to give you fast results, and for some people who have severe acne scarring, it won't work at all.

If you're willing to spend a bit more money, then you might consider looking into Skin Culture Peels.

Skin Culture Peel is a chemical peel that is used over the course of a few days. The basic idea is that it causes your skin to shed.

It's not super expensive, but it's not cheap, either, so I won't go into detail since this article is supposed to be about an inexpensive acne scar solution. If you want to read more about Skin Culture Peels, check out their official website by clicking the link below:
